1. Product description:

Ultrasonic Smart Gas Meter was developed based on ultrasonic measurement technology, which adopts compact design without moving parts, it has the advantages of high reliability, high accuracy, wide measurement range ratio, etc.

2. Working principle:

Ultrasonic Smart Gas Meter calculates the gas flow rate by measuring the time differences between Tl(U1→U2)and T2(U2→U1),then modifies the gas flow rate according to the cross sectional area of the flow channel.

3. Features:

1) Metering Advantages:

• Smaller & Lighter: Smaller and lighter than diaphragm meter ofthe same type.
• Ultra-High Sensitivity: Subtle gas flow can be detected.
• Wide Range Ratio: G4W can be up to 375:1, G40W can be up to 260:1.
• High Reliability: No moving parts,nolosses of measurement accuracy in long term operation.
• Strong Anti-Interference Ability: Digital metering signal output, undisturbed by magnetic field.

2) Gas Safety:

• Over Flow Detection: Meter will close valve automatically at over flow rate to prevent pipe broken.
• Reverse Flow Detection: When detects reverse gas flow, meter will close valve automaticallyin case of meterinstalled wrongly.
• Continuous Flow Detection: When detects continuous flow, meter will close valve automatically in case of forgetting to turn off the gas appliance and to prevent pipe leakage.
• High Temperature Detection: When detects gas temperature above the high temperature
  alam threshold,meter will close the valve automatically and report to the system in case of meter in fire envirnment.
• Air Ingress Detection: When detects air ingress, meter will close the valve automatically and report to the system in case of illegal disassembling from pipe.
• Water Ingress Detection: When detects water ingress, the valve will close automatically to ensure pipe network safety.
• Meter Disassembling Detection: When detects battery cover opened or controller disassembled, meter will record a log and report to the system.
